Is sex before marriage a crime?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Is sex a sin? Is sex before marriage a sin? Christian sexologist Martina Somorjai answers these fascinating questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every historical era picks out one human behaviour to stigmatise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It used to be fashionable to scare the hell out of people who had sex before marriage. For quite a long time, in fact for thousands of years, people could be kept in check, scared, condemned, tortured and tormented. Sex was a sin in almost every situation: before marriage, during marriage, during menstruation. Sex is a sin during pregnancy, during fasting. Sex is a sin when the goal is not procreation. Consequently, contraception is also a sin. All forms of sex are sinful if the semen is not discharged into a \"useful place\", i.e. the vagina. Masturbation is a sin. It is a sin to think about sex. Desiring someone is a sin. It is a sin to abort a child born from rape \/ with a severe birth defect etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This era seems to have passed, but in many places in Christian, Christian, New Christian, Jewish, Muslim communities, these views are still alive. The point is to have something to condemn, to control, to discipline. Feel great shame because guilt <\/strong><\/a>makes him a devout follower of the community of believers. For a community which, according to them, has no other saving power than the emotional blackmail of sex.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dieticians, fitness fascists<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Nowadays I find that it has become fashionable to judge each other's eating habits. Dieticians are savagely cracking down on anyone who is still willing to eat gluten-lactose-sugar-containing foods or meat. Whatever your illness, you're bound to run into someone who will put you off all of these things. And if you go on a cruel diet that really has nothing in it, and you're practically eating fruit and vegetables, but not any of them, you'll find you've been torturing yourself for nothing. Because there's hardly any improvement, hardly any healing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It's funny how that became the value. Who eats what, or rather doesn't eat. And virginity used to be the value, but only for women. That's no less ridiculous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently we have also seen some crazy judgements about who has and has not been vaccinated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Again, all this has to do with the individual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What someone does or does not do with their own body is nobody's business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When will people realise that everyone has the right to do what they want with their own body?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You should not interfere in the other's own individual way of life. That will only affect him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How much better will it be for me if my neighbour Joci stops eating bread? Will I be happier if the stranger 300 km away does not have sex before marriage?<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

They really make no difference to the community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the community, for the whole, the only thing that matters is how you treat other people.<\/strong>.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Real values, real morality<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
If we must judge, why not judge by these? Wouldn't it be more livable to live in an environment where people have good intentions? Where they are moral in this respect? In the original, noble sense of the word morality<\/strong>? These are the real values<\/strong>, no other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
  • Do you keep your word to the other person?<\/li>
  • Are you wasting his time? Stealing time is a bigger crime than stealing money, because you can never give back the time you took.<\/li>
  • Are you nice, honest, fair to him?<\/li>
  • Are you trying not to hurt him? If you do and he tells you, do you take it into account?<\/li>
  • Do you help him in his time of need, or do you fail to do so?<\/li>
  • Are you grateful, do you reciprocate when he has helped you?<\/li>
  • If you have done or failed to do something, do you take responsibility for it?<\/li>
  • Are you fair?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
    Instead, what we see: it is fashionable to be more and more evil, mean, dishonest, deceitful. It's fashionable to plunder big money. It's fashionable to get away with it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
    Society not only tolerates, but even supports the spread of evil, of corruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
    No responsibility in small or big ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
    There is no morality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
    Taken out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
